I understand the language of legalese and that’s all that matters....

I have never come across anybody less able to understand "legalese".

To give you an example, you have stated that the important word in the Crimes Act definition of unlawful assembly is the word "will". It's not, it's the word "fear". Persons in the neighbourhood only need to fear that the assemlby will cause violence. There doesn't actually need to be any violence at all. Just the fear of it.

Meanwhile in Canada, the first of the Yanks who went north in support of the convoy has appeared in court and claimed that his First Amendment rights had been breached. That would be the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States Of America - but he's in Canada.

Others were claiming their arrests were invalid because they had not been read their Miranda rights. "You have the right to remain silent" etc.

It hasn't occurred to these geniuses that as soon as they cross the border, US law ceases to apply. They are now subject to Canadian law which is, funny enough, not the same as US law.

so why didn't this protest occur when the mandates came in, or when people started to lose their jobs if they were genuine? Why did it have to wait till they saw truckers do it in canada, and copy that?
Why are all the vidoes that they leak out that allegedly show police brutatlity never show the minute of two leading up to that point so we can make a for judgement ourselves?
Surely if this lot represent many new zealanders, or the majority of them, there would have been other sizeable protests throughout the country?
