I think the explanation is that there IS a variation in the qulaity of the tyres. We have seen Pecco finsh in a lower place and struggle to qulaify. I think this can be attributed to the fact that there is a variation in the quality of the tyres. Jorges extreme style couldnt be executed.

This was pretty interesting and revealing. I know a lot of people dont like him, but I do. He's clearly a guy who cares about his team, and for me that means alot.
I was watching a Ben Collins video (the stig) - he was talking to two staff members from the original Top Gear. One guy said "Jeremy Clarkson is a great guy, hilarious and extremely smart. What you see on TV is a toned down version of what he is really like. I love the guy but every now and again you have to point out that he is a LOT to deal with." I feel like MM is the opposite. Off the track he's a toned down version the on track guy. I've seen quite a few videos of him away from the track now.
Anyway.. the video is good :P

i think that there is always a variation in tyre quality wether it is special run of motogp tyres or a "normal" tyre. That why they have waranties etc. We dont push our normal tyres to the limit contiuously to be abe to discern the difference. If we one day have an incident we cant say that it was defietly the tyre(compared to the last 200 times we have come round that corner). I think the variations in performance we sometimes see may be the normal variation in the tyre quality.
Martin has a tall order this weekend... I've been deeply impressed by his efforts this year, not so much by shadowing Bagnaia yesterday... but the alarm could be getting set to watch the sprint race at 3am .

another nail biting sprint that was - its been a while since i've heard the spectators making more din than the bikes (i suppose the spanish are a bit excitable though). Martin still has a tall order as all Bagnaia needs to do is finish 5th to wrap it up. Did we notice that MM doesn't give a rats about the guys trying to secure a championship.. hope he doesn't clean out anyone tonight. where's that alarm clock...
even fifth is far from certain. Alex(73) ,the vr46 bikes ,Binder is all it would take . Zarco, and Vinales as well. Mind you a lot of Ducatis there
Yeah, mapping - 1![]()
Congrats to Pecco.. Hope MM is well enough to do his test ride this week, pretty sure everyone wants to see that.
