    Well, he's had a go hasn't he?

Was silver, I like the colour, but not the rattle can finish. Spill of gas would have that streaking I bet. Oh, and the engine has been painted in situ, nuts and all. Bet that lasts no more than a few heat cycles.

Rear end sawn off so forget any touring abilities.

And the pipe. Oh lord. In what universe would that get a warrant?

Well chroming is becoming unaffordable so he's just painted it all. Which at first blush looks OK in pictures but Dear God- why oh why? Gold detailing and blue where it shouldn't be, ever.

Maybe to divert you away from the paint covering the chrome?

Like on the pipes. Again, a few heat cycles. . .

The Yamaha's a collection of parts looking for a better home.

I'd imagine that's probably what you'd have to pay for a T20 restoration project now. Instruments shouldn't be too hard to find.
Paint and plate would cost you at least that nuch again, possibly more.
One for the collector with a gap in the collection.

I bought the poster for the garage a decade ago, but that's the closest I'll get.

Unusually, the maggot looks better with a rider. Hides that seat.

Send that GN straight to the crusher. With the person who committed the atrocity.

Clearly he is parting this out. He already sold the back of the bike.

    Nice, many larkfs.

The CX: exposed frame looks dreadful without sidecovers. Was going to say, appropriate riding gear for its natural habitat, but he has managed 1500km in 4 years. Not specifically in this guise though?

If you squint hard enough the rear subframe looks a bit like a slimline featherbed.
But I've made several replacement Norton subframes to avoid just that.

Having had a couple of racing nails on the dyno I was surprised to see how bad the frames were, things like squashed frame rails etc.
Wotaloda rubbish for all the jap criticism that went on.
