Somebody, it may have been Crafar, suggested on X that the pundits had left Rins out of their predictions. Listening to Peter Bom this morning, describing the track and how to navigate it, he said the winner will not necessarily have the most powerful bike but will know best how to ride the track.

if i recall correctly, when they went to 800 in 2007 lap records still fell. unless thay put rev limits or fuel flow restrictions the manufacturers will make them go as fast.Originally Posted by F5 Dave

Yes, they will go as fast or faster, but the worry is that as has happened before, powerbands may get narrower. Which is leading to highside country.
The last time capacity was reduced, the accident rate went up.

Reminds me that when the 500's started using the LeMans circuit, Lawson said that using 2nd gear 3 times a lap was too much.
That track is now a medium - fast circuit by current standards

Acosta hasn't (yet) been bitten by the KTM as often as Binder and Miller have. Binder for one seems to approach the limit a tad more carefully than he used to.

That was impressive from Mav. Him and Marc were obviously not pushing hard, it should be an interesting race. None of the Ducatis looked quite right, maybe it will come down to who can improve their bike the most. But the race is Vinales to lose provided the bike doesn't break!

You'd not have thought MM and Acosta would be on their own up front by such a margin.
Checking to see how long it takes 3now to get the sprint replay up for future and Can't bloody figure out why they have a full moto2 race on atm. There hasn't been a moto2 so far this weekend I think ????

There was something going on with the tyres.MM said he ws having some issues ,but he decided to go for it after Pedro had a go at him. Apart from Mav everybody seemed to have only a couple or really fast laps in their tyres before they had to back off.I dont know which corner(s) but there is a huge bump in one of the sharper Left handers
