You omitted dishonesty. He was responsible for the deaths of children in Samoa having visited and campaigned against the measles vaccine. His excuse was that the deaths were caused by a faulty batch of the vaccine. That'd be the vaccine that hadn't been administered because of his campaign. Obviously that makes no sense at all but that's just RFK Jr. He has zero credibility and the MAHA report nonsense is just same ol' same ol'.

As already stated, more and more authors are coming out and saying their studies/reports are being twisted, and just how much of this report was created using flawed AI is definitly up for debate. I do not want to waste time reading a report where one constantly would need to fact check it because the authors failed to give this the duty of care it very much needed and deserved.
Is it? I did not mention trump in these posts. My actual point of view of the trump RFK relationship is each of them views the other as a useful idiot to get what each one wants. I seriously doubt trump had anything to do with the MAHA report at all. trumps interest in healthcare is reflected in everyone still waiting since 2016 for a obamacare replacement.
Yes, LLM's are very impressive, and getting more so by the day, but as you allude to, they cannot yet be relied upon. I could not guess how many people used AI in the creation of this report, but yeah - not a good look.
This video popped up today, and it does highlight how they have a ways to go. (I was surprised how well Grok did).
Cheers Pritch, yes I was aware of that - I have seen the interviews with family members who related their RFK experiences, and it was heart breaking. I may of bought it up depending on where the thread went. I finally learned a while ago on threads like this one, do not open up to many points of discussion as it quickly gets out of hand and I do not have the time to keep up.
I note that, at least in your series of responses over the last 24 hours, rather than engage on issues, all you have is personal insults. If that is all you have, then it really would seem to suggest your views on the issues at hand are not affording you a strong platform to operate from.
So as a recap, with RFK having the keys to the kingdom so to speak, combined with the fact he has been pushing this vaccine barrow for a very long time - I find it incredulous that he did not have all the facts and figures ready to go and instead released a flawed and poorly executed report. Considering all the crazy shit that came out during his presidential bid (leaving dead bears in central park etc) I really thought that he would of taken a bit more care towards credibility.
My point is the report is seriously flawed. While I respect your right to digest a report that is made up of an unknown amount of AI generation and authors publicly saying their work is being misrepresented - I choose not too. RFK seriously dropped the ball, but you do not seem to want to discuss that, and that is OK too.
I think you will find it agrees with his confirmation bias so is deemed as holy.
The actual Scientific method is ruthless peer review and testing hypothesis. If a paper can't pass the first hurtle, it is discarded as replaced by stronger documents until always edging closer to the truth.
The method is chosen that attempts the best to remove bias as that usually skews the findings.
Going into a report with a forgone conclusion is just daft. For the same reason that papers sponsored by companies with a vested interest are a waste of time.
As a species we are only as smart as our collective knowledge and our ability to use critical thinking to design the tools to establish good tests and analysis.
Doing an internet search asking questions you already have decided the answers will give bullshit spraying writers that you want to read.

Yep, the high tolerance of questionable data has been noted.
Thanks for taking the time to post, all good points. Especially the last bit about being able to find shit on the internet to support ones viewpoint, no matter how unlikely. Social media algorithms just love putting people into ring fenced groups too - I've done some tests.
Well that is likely because dogman's ego tells him he is not only smarter than a fool like me, but also actual scientists.
I've worked with smarter people all my life, but I'm smart enough to be able to identify them vs the ones that merely think they are smarter. (Spoiler, their ego is over inflated).
Dogman probably only deals with other shop assistants, and of course that is an honest occupation, they are much needed in society. But don't fool yourself, there are much higher thinkers and we should all be aware of our limitations.

Different I know, but here's a thing. At first this appears scary. It's meant to. There have been millions of doses administered, the number of pancreatitis cases is statistically insignificant. Pancreatitis, however, is very unpleasant even if it is statistically insignificant. Ozempic was derived from the venom of a poisonous lizard, I'll pass thanks.
