Well I didn't realsie this post would have so many Poms putting their head up too.

No I'm not intending bringing the rellies. First I knew about coming to NZ was after after a quiet but strange tasting drink with a kiwi girl, woke up to find myself bound hand and foot in the bottom of a waka, next thing thrown trussed on to the shores of the West Coast!

For other people new to the off road side of this, I found this web site while idly searching around.

Huh? I've been here 38 years and have never run in to a gridlock. There is about an hour around 4:30pm to 5:30pm when I don't tend to drive but even then still no actual gridlock, maybe I'm just blessed.

Yep - the boss is doing shift work so have to plan these things. After this weekend I have leave for the 4/5th and then the weekends from the 18th on.
