Anyone here do the big wheelie at Pages Rd/Anzac Drive this afternoon?

Exchanged pleasantries with a guy on a blue bike on Anzac Drive at the Pages Road intersection waiting for the lights to change about 4.15 this afternoon. Might have been an R6 or an R1 (or it might not have been). The lights went green and he pulled a stunning wheelie across the intersection and departed the scene out of his seat. Last seen disappearing in the distance up Anzac Drive.

Anyone here want to claim responsibilty? I'm not into wheelies myself but that was a thing of beauty.

Best one i've seen was down near taupo on this huge straight road were these two guys on dirtbikes on the grass bit on the side next to the forest cruising along at about 90kmph (we were towing a heavy ass trailer) on the back wheel for a good km. I was throughly imprssed! he even stood up at one point and also did ti one handed. Top notch!

Wish I could do shit like that but old age has really accentuated the 'ouch' factor.

I've found Christchurch seems to be the hot 'wheelie' city - never see less than three-four each time I'm there.

All I can think about is "Coooool, but this is REALLY a bad time to find out there's a red-light runner".

But good luck to the brave.

Not that'd you'd ever even think to attempt something as impressive as pulling a big power mono through the middle of [a road] alongside a certain green Kawasaki (that's pretty specific! ), would you?
That'd be irresponsible and downright impressive, that. Dangerous too, can't have that. Nearly as bad as owning a motorbike...
