Went for a quick blat around through Apiti etc. Watch for crap on the road all the way from Apiti back to the turn off to Pohangina. Unmarked road works, slips, mud etc.

Took the new ZG for a spin to Wellington today, stopped in Otaki to make a phone call and met a lady opening up a coffee shop who told me about her husband who recently brought himself a Buel and coming around the corner on the para paras ran head on into a car in the wrong lane Bike a mess and wrecked the tendons in his hand but still has managed to get back on one of his old bikes
Carried on through and wouldnt you know it Drizzle in and around Wellington Suprise suprise Still had a good run anyway (I hate Wellington traffic)
Took some photos on the way back as it was getting dark on Paekok hill
Ive done 820 kms now and am allowed to run it up to 6000 rpm
It is doing 160 kmh at 4800 rpm so id love to know what shed do at red line in top gear
Im love having heated hand grips and a windscreen why didnt someone tell me about these before

I forgot to mention as i was riding through Wellington towards the airport i went passed the Kaeasaki dealer and there was a guy sitting on another Concours with a dealers plate about to go for a test ride I tooted at him but he was too interested in looking at the dash of the bike to look up Never mind
AFC have another one in there already, the third including mine, could be a popular bike in time
