Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
A good debate, generally everyone thinks the law is an ass.
So, it's Yam's off, Lasers on til WoF time....![]()
theres a place in east tamaki called custom chambers they do stainless mufflers my wanna contact them
An afterthought.
Can anyone tell me the official wording on these riveted plates?
My race cans have a lovely welded bracket rather than a hanger, so I could get plates engraved and rivet them on over the "For race use only" etching. In a legal way of course.....![]()
You could go to a bit of bother...but if your cans are not 'obnoxiously' loud to start with, the wof tester probably won't even notice

Mate...they're so in your face that your cheeks would pop if I blipped the throttle.
The spitting farting and flames on overrun just leaves me grinning so much me cheeks stretch. On this thought, maybe switching cans would be easier, eh?.
Stainless sounds nice and "raw" too! Lots of places will be able to make one up, can be good value v.s paying for a name brand. Poor design can mean holes on power delivery and poor mixtures in your engine, those bike factories ain't stupid either! Good luck Boobie! I made one for mine out of perf tube, stainless woo, and a carbon tube, needs new jetting before I'd run it all the time.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Two Brothers Racing. I am most content with the cans that grace my FJR.

Depends on the state of tune now and how much difference new cans make to the flow, not just in volume overall but at different stages through the revs and load. I know enough about it to say I'm not the person to say anything about what difference it would make to your bike!! Ask someone you trust or a few people and see what the answer seems to be. Doesn't have to be a killer but I doubt doing it right is ever going to be a fast or cheap job.

I've been on bikes with loud pipes I lusted after and the drone got into my head in all the wrong ways when I was out for a cruise. Fun in town, blazing it up and pissing cars off but something else to think about before dropping any coin.
