    What a bummer You were riding so well that day as well but you can't do bugger all when you hit unseen diesel.

    Poor old Duke.

    Yep, good gear, you gotta have it. Ending up in the oncoming lane is a real worry but like me last year, you got up and walked away still in one piece.
    Real lucky of course as it would be a different story if a car was coming the other way at the same time.

    Heal quick mate, hope the Duke is easily fixed.
    If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.

    Really glad you are ok mate, bugger about the damage to the duke but that is a lot easier to fix than you. Yay for good gear and the brains to wear it.

    Sorry to hear about the bin Chris I hope both you and the Duke are still up to next weekends ride, like Paul says it could have been so much nastier if there had of been some oncoming traffic. I think you probably should make the font a bit larger on that Quote in your signature
