    Don't know how many teeth - but its bigger (have the standard sprocket too) ... dunno why I said up one tooth - just always have this "drop one tooth" phrase in my head.

    Going smaller in the front or going bigger in the back does similar things. Going bigger in the back is kinder to your chain from what I heard/read somewhere.

    i tooth on the front is usually equivelent to 3 on the rear....

    and yeah i spose u got a point there man... the more teeth it has to grab onto on the front the less strain on chain and sprockets.....

    I would agree with the bigger in the back is kinder to your chain, cause even though the chain is longer, more links are on the sprocket, which would even out the wear a lot better... that's my thoughts at least... I went plus 13 on the rear for my FZR400... was great till I crashed the bike
