My good lady wife is on a training course all weekend.
The bike is in for service at the moment, including a new tyre which will need sorting out.
The weather forecast is good.
Tell me more !!!!
And to cap it off, I have another ride lined up for about 500 km on Sunday.
Roll on the weekend.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.
Hi There
I'd be interested too!!!
When you have some more details please let me know
Cheers

.... back in green and feeling great ....
As per PM to your significantly better half, I won't be able to make it as the Domestic Controller(tm) has insisted I put on my pinny and make like I know what I am doing with hammers, wrecking bars and other quite useful tools of destruction.
*sigh*
Enjoy it, and ride safe all... (Ya rotten sods mumble curse etc...)
At the 2007 Westpac Ride:
Donor: So ya glad you're a Biker?
Minnie: F**k yeah!
Let me know what time so I can hide under a bridge and throw eggs as you go by!
Nah I'm going fishing so that's out! Maungakahia Rd is good at the mo, had road works a couple of months ago and washouts from the storm but all good. Was thru there 2 weeks ago with Rider in Black. Have fun!

Sounds like a plan, was planning on going up that way to visit my dad, just an excuse for a ride, introduce him to my young American,
weather permitting see you at the servo,
cheers john
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

Do yourselves a favour and head west from Kaikohe and down thru the Waipoua forest to Dargs. Waimamaku has a great cafe roadhouse. You probably are familiar with this road tho. Make a good round trip and hopefully the forest road will be dry.

Oh and a couple of points of interest, 1 is the Wairua falls, it is a short road about 10km up the Maungakahia Rd on your left. Well worth checking out. 2nd make sure you stop mid-span on the twin bridges and have a look around. You can often see schools of mullet in the rivers there. My workmate used to shoot them with a 303 or drop gelignite in and pick up the bounty as it floated down stream! True story! Have a nice day!
