Basically, if you see a tidy looking zxr400 stickered as in my avatar, the fucker riding it stole it. Run him/her (can't be discriminating in this day in age) into the ground and beat him/her to tiny bits of fecal matter.

Sorry to hear about your zxr400. Can you post a picture of your bike? I will definitely keep an eye out. Not many in that full kawasaki green colour.

Am I imagining it or is this just the most recent in quite a line of thefts of motorbikes at Auckland Uni?

If it is, then maybe Campus Security need to be ebgaged in this and perhaps to set up a sting somehow.

Not the first time at Auckland uni... must be time the Northern KBers setup a sting operation. I'm happy to send some bolt cutters up as the Southern contribution. I'm not suggesting that they be used to remove digits, but I wouldn't say don't either.

I think a CBR250RR or similar with the engine gutted and replaced with a concentrated explosive, rig the bike with cameras and a transmitter wait for it to be nicked, watch the camera and wait for the most oppurtune time to press the "bang" button.

My avatar is the only pic I have of it unfortunately... there might well be one somewhere on KB if you want to spend ages trawling thru the website.

P'raps if you want people to look for it for you, you might make the effort yourself? Then re-post it. What size is the original of the avatar? Maybe you could repost it full size?

Well, for now do some investigation in your spare time and gather as much as evidence as possbile. Talk to some other KB's who has had their bike stolen and ask them what they did.

Witnesses, flyers, police, put a free ad in craccum (I know the ed personally so I can put in a word for ya) ,spread the word, and just general shit like that.

Shit happens to anyone , anytime, but I guess you're learnt from this experience and next time you're gonna get yourself some protective measures.

*that fucker who stole your bike needs a good hiding, for sure

    mobile phone.

    C4.

    Detonator.

All under the seat. When you find your bike stolen - dial the number. This reduces the number of bikes that will be stolen in the future.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
