I probably need to explain a bit better. I only came out of hospital not so long ago after a nasty bike accident which smashed my hip/pelvis to pieces, so im lucky to be vertical let alone riding

Nothing wrong with me bike, it's a sports/tourer & she loves being on the open road, it's my hip that doesn't like the long rides (& my physio )

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Weird? The others didn't attach, ok 2nd time.....

There's 9 pins & a titanium plate screwed to my hip for life, hence why I get very sore riding for long distances

Im just back from the kiwi
took 2nd in the slow race, even though i was put into the dirt class, despite my MT 60's!

    LIVE TO RIDE

also, bringing a dirt bike is far better than bringing a road bike!

Yeah, Just back too. fantastic weekend. good to meet so many decent people, cheers to everyone who i talked/mumbled/slured at, and cheers to those who checked i was alive (comatose by the bonfire in the rain)

Took part in the hill climb, first road bike with road tyres to give it a shot, great fun, and didnt even do any decent damage

nah man, road bike is way better, just ride it around everywhere you go, carrys your piss and its a comfy seat.

    So you made it Tom

Knew that you you find you way once on the motorway. I was really watching the speedo and slowly drifted away behind you.

Had to stop for gas at Bombay as well.

Good to ride with ya, if you want to get some more K's in then let me know as I intend to running up a few more over the next few weeks.

Must admit I have never seen a wetter sleeping bag than yours this morning!

Couple of photos attached. Doing the video now (in which you have a part... well two or three actually that include your well abused bike).

    Cheers

yeah, we hit the motorway and some blokes flew past me, so i gave chase/cruised along at 145 for a while till they turned off. seemed to make the time go pretty quickly.

300km for the tank of gas haha!

I was talking to a lovely young lady at the Kiwi, and she was interested in buying my bike, so im not sure how much longer i will have it. im leaving the country in 15 days anyway wooo
