Yay, hopefully this one doesn't get posted up with bunches of drivel like the last one did.

Weather looks good for the weekend.

I think I've got a private ride to visit Mrs TA's mother's grave this weekend.

    Might take the long way

    Arrow Moderator's note

This will be the third attempt at a Hamilton riders' thread. If you want this to be a purposeful thread and not to end up in Pointless Drivel with its predecessors, then do not use it as a respository for stories about binning, stunts gone wrong, Friday night hooning exploits, run ins with the constabulary or any other crapola.

Moderators will endeavour to assist keeping this thread on track but, at the end of the day, its up to Hamilton riders to self-manage the content.

Well I Went to new plymouth, then headed west around munt taranaki.
Turned north to hawera, turn right at stratford, throught to Whangamomona, then on to taumaranui, and back up sh3 to hamilton .

    680kms ...

    On another note.
Very nice that the mods decided to delete all my posts in this thread, but left the post from hitcher saying that we can't talk about: "binning, stunts gone wrong, Friday night hooning exploits, run ins with the constabulary or any other crapola"

So please guys ... just so we can abide by the rules here, lets only talk about topics that are approved.

Since I have already pissed off a senior mods, would one of you kind gents ask hitcher to provide us with an "approved topics" list.

    On a personal note:
Do what ever you want mods ... for fuck sake, I've abided by all the rules here since my joining, and you can't be fucked acknowledging that. Now I am personally offended that my thread/posts/contributions get binned.
Me thinks its time for yet another forum website. Anybody else interested? Or should I just make use of sportsbike.co.nz more?

I think Hitchers point, is to not make KB a target for people looking to diss bikes!
If we have a thread based on exploits and run-ins with the fuzz etc, as a whole it makes us bikers look bad.
KB is here for the good of biking and to help spread the word on our great past time.
    Use it wisely

I keep an eye on this thread, but to be honest, alot of the banter thats posted seems to lead it off track.
Throw a bit of shit at each other by all means. But I think some more bike related comments are needed. If your posting just to tell your mate that he's a homo cause he doesn't get his knee down, maybe a phone call to him, or better still a couple of beers with him would be a better time/place for it.
This isn't aimed at any one, cause I've only met a few guys briefly.
Summers coming, so this thread will be useful to learners and experienced riders who wish to enjoy the Waikato.
How many learners are out there?
Kanny, my girlfriend is just learning, and guys like Mental T, and Warr are the perfect guys to get feed back from.

Fri ride was a cruisey blat down to CK, inland on Waitewhena Rd into Ohura, and then a heap of gravel through to Raurimu and onto the rally.
Sundays rain put a dampner on the dirt so I travelled home on Hwy4.
    Good weekend.

Just to totally take things offtrack, some of us would probably pay good money to see that

I also think that like hooning around carparks, wheeling and running from teh cops ARE part of the biker culture, and KB's culture. The problem comes from the fact that the mods tend to be older, more mature, more conservative, and dont want anything that could shed a "bad light" on the rest of us. Personally I've never wheelied in my life, and I still think the mods are way OTT these days.

Now to drag things back on topic I rode to the shops this weekend, and consumed a lot of alchohol.. Not at the same time..

You think? I think thats just about youth - regardless of what they drive/ride
It's a petrol head culture maybe - but I wouldn't think it was a KB culture, most of the guys I've met from KB seem to stay away from trouble.

Isn't the mod who has attacked our thread a cop in real life?

Oh shit! Hang on, Hamilton thread. Well I used to live there.
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

We've got plenty of members who have done the runners from cops, plenty who stunt on public roads, plenty who speed on public roads.. I'd say a goodly section of kb have that culture. And not all of them are young. I've met a few in the 30-50 range that fall into that category.

Isn't the mod who has attacked our thread a cop in real life?
I dunno who was it? none of the mods are cops that I know of but I dont pay too much attention.
