Those are nasty injuries, my best wishes to this man for a full, quick and uncomplicated recovery. My thoughts and best wishes are with him and his family and friends.

On another note, although a lot of grief is directed at officers here (and elsewhere) it's really good to see that when something like this happens, people are genuinely concerned for the rider.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
