Firstly, they are Bikes and I like them. Never owned one but I have done plenty of riding on them, mainly in the USA with some yank mates of mine and not wearing helmets either (oooh). They are comfortable, they'll do the ton plus a bit, and handle OK. And they sound real nice too and they look nice. Don't knock em until you have tried them.

After watching "Wild Hogs" I have learned that if you are a harley riding computer geek and walk into a bar full of bikers with a tire iron in your hand whilst threatening them (even though they have vowed to kill you), the most they will do is tie you up with gaffertape and hang you from a tree.

    Cool.

I think the film was heavily edited before they were hung in the tree (or some time after) and some scenes were 'missed out'...

Oh cool, they are motorcyclists and entertainers as well, but I suspect they could afford more than one.

    tools ?

it all comes down to the the old saying a bad workman will allways blame the tools he uses for his bad job !!!

a harley is a motorcycle if you not noticed maybe you like to rade jappas then thats ok by me its entirely your choice, but if you feel you have to pull other bikers down for what they ride, because either you cant afford one or your so one eyed then thats your problem, but it does not give you the right to tell or expect others to see the same as you, or even ride the same bike as you, it would be a very quiet forum here if we all had the same toys so get back in your cot and share your toys or experiances with others around you but do not tell them how to behave dress or what to ride they have a choice just like you.

A perceptive man there with the use of the words 'toys and cot'..!

I think the negativity comes from the fact most Harley riders will ignore sportsbike riders when it comes to the nod or wave.
Obviously they think they are better than us!
I am always ready to acknowledge a fellow biker but so many times Harley riders just ignore you.
Even at the lights they won't look at you, perhaps its cause they're scared of what 4 cylinders and over 10,000rpm sounds like.
The odd Harley will wave, but its usually a middle aged "semi-rider"!

    erm

and i allways get the same reaction from sports bikes so it works both ways !!! thats life no need to loose the plot over it is there, i ride a harley i wave and if i dont get a response maybe i will get a nod from the next one, and there will allways be another, plus even harley riders dont allways nod or wave back to me, so it works both ways

    Nice Bikes

They are a nice looking bike there is no doubt,in fact one could say quite pretty. The problem in my opinion is the attitude that a lot of them have sitting on top.We sometimes had great fun watching the Sunday H D riders pulling up outside the Riverhead Pub,strutting and posing and becomming orgasmic over each others extra add ons. Each to his own, hope the rain stays away as I like to see them.

I don't hate them, saw a documentary on Sky about the making of the v-rod. I could own one of them. I thought it was funny how they went on about fuel injection and the cradle frame as if they invented it, still worth watching though. It might break a Harley owners heart to tell them that the fuel tank on a v-rod is under the seat and made of plastic, not chromed lead like the rest of the bike! I quite like the Deuce as well but not at $38K
