Wankers - This is a post about a fallen rider, irrespective of job, a rider, a person with a common interest, have some freaking respect! What would it be like for your family, if something really bad was to happen to you, and as per normal the KB community got in, paid their respects, helped the family etc, as all too often they do. Yet the, "He/she was a great person - very sorry" thread was tainted with crap from some other peanut brained moron just because you do A or B job? Grow the fuk up!

The rider in question - Cop or no cop, rider or no rider, speed or no speed, get well soon pal, all the best for a speedy recovery!

All - Cops are only a problem when you fuk up or are doing something wrong. Don't want a problem, don't brake the law. Want to brake the law (and I do too), get busted, do the crime, pay the fine (or do time). It isn't the cop at fault, it is you

That's my rant, and I suppose simply by adding to it, I'm endorsing it, but be sure, this is not about me, it is about him, and the all too frequent lack of responsibility and respect.

    Well said.

However a policeman is more likely to have dealings with you if you Break the law....
Never been so bold to brake the law myself.

Hope our fallen rider is on the mend.

    cop accident sept 4th

Hi, The cop in question is Nick who emigrated to NZ 4 years ago, I am one of many friends in England who are very worried about his condition, I spoke to his wife last night who says that he remains sedated & very poorly. Nick is foremost a biker who has been riding for many years before joining the british police force, he emigrated to NZ to become a bike cop leaving behind his beloved 1999 R1. Nick is a bear of a bloke who will do anything for anyone. we in Bournemouth England would like to thank everyone who has posted kind regards & we now wait in hope of better news especially for his wife, daughter & 2 sons aged 4 & less than 1. best regards to you all.

Obviously can't make it BC but happy if you either print out the comments from the thread (Thread Tools->Print Version) or just write the names of us who've wished Nick all the best.

Just want to be clear if that's the same as the Papakura Autobahn BP.

    Printing out good wishes

Just had a thought. If before you print anything out, you put Katman on Ignore, then the printout will only show his name but no comments.

I think good wishes are what he'd appreciate, the trolling could be very distressing, if not for him, certainly for his family.

Hi mate. As much as we sometimes get p#$&#* off with NZ ourselves, we do actually live in a pretty cool country which includes medical staff who do give a damn about patients (despite being underfunded but that's a matter between me and Helen). All our thoughts are directed his way, and I'm sure the team in the hospital are doing everything they can.

thoughts are with friends and family and I hope he'll be back busting us soon....
