I'd love a ride on a Kwak triple someday. Apart from anything else, they looked horny. Purposeful. The sort of bike which just begs you to hop on, bend over the bars and start playing with the throttle...

You need ed-ja-mu-kating boy! There is nothing sweeter than a two stroke with chambers. And the triples rule the roost.

Me too after my brother had a H2750. It had been down the road a few times by previous owners (standard fare for that bike) and had a sad clutch. I did a whole bunch of work on it, and it was going sweet, then I gave it back to him.... but that is another story.

Me, more of a RD350lc lad... As the one in the garage would attest to...

That does look good though. Absolutely love the sound when he drives out of those corners...

Understand it's your opinion, but..errr.....just curious,...if you dislike two-strokes that much,...how come you read a thread with the title of "For those who love 2-strokes !!"....

Strange sentiment though - 2 strokes best on lawnmowers. I wonder what all those GP riders that were on 500cc 2 strokes until recently would say?

I grew up with 2T engines - My dad drove a Wartburg 353 Knight Tourist, a 2 stroke car. I shit you not. 992cc 3 cylinder 2 Stroke to be exact.

I love riding my Ducati and I love it's sound but I still borrow Chickadee's RG150 when I feel the need to be a hooligan. She's looking at getting another bike (600cc 4 Stroke) and I'm trying to work out how we can justify keeping the RG150.

I enjoy 2 strokes and the sound, the smell, the powerband....mmmmm..

You ever ridden one? Seriously, I used to think similar (although not as demeaning) of 2-strokes until I rode a Suzuki RG150... that's about the time that I sold my GPX250 and bought the RG150 (it was a friend's who had just upgraded to a Yamaha TZR250)...

Very interesting info on it. The seller has done a huge amount of work to it.
Ah well, just as well I'm happy with my Guzzi.

Yeah - trading a brand new gpx250 for a 1998 RG150 is commonly known as 'upgrading' too 2 strokes rule.

    I upgraded from a 1987 GPX250 to a 1998 RG150... it definitely was an upgrade...
