Squeaky front wheel area

I have a problem with my new scooter. I'm hoping someone on KB can help me out with diagnosing the problem, seeing as most of you are distinguished riders and are in the know.

This is what I have diagnosed so far:
1) Squeak is coming from the front wheel section
2) Squeak is cyclic and not constant ie. when the wheel turns
3) Squeak varies, doesn't do it when I'm trying to get someone else to listen out for it, hence they think I'm making it up
4) Squeak occurs even when I'm pushing the scooter and engine is off, even when I'm not on it.
5) It doesn't seem to matter what speed, although its a lot harder to hear the squeak when on the open road and wearing a helmet, but I'm sure everyone is looking at me
6) It is a brand new scooter, so brand new brake pads etc, I've been told the brakes need to be worn-in... but seriously, this is a loud squeaky noise on a new scooter
7) I've tried applying the brakes hard, at speed but the noise persists
8) the people that i bought it off rode it around the block and it wasn't squeaking then, so they didn't take it away to get checked
9) my partner thinks I baby it and need to ride it in normal situations, so I did, but the squeak got worse and LOUDER

Help anyone?

did you buy it form 5050 racing?

either way take it to them and say it is still making the moise and if they could please check it out....will take it in with you if you want, in all honesty alot of shops screw females over...it's just how it is

It is hard to diagnose without hearing but as the bike is new, take it back to the supplier,

Try and work out what makes the noise worst and then demonstrate it for them.

Agreed, take it back to where you brought it and have them take a quick look. It should only take them a few minutes to discover if it is anything to worry about or not. It's most likely nothing major, but it's a good idea to check out any odd sounds, and if they have any sort of customer service they should be happy to take a quick look.

If you can't be bothered going right now, put it on the centre stand and spin the front wheel to see if you can make it squeak. If it is the wheel itself it'll either come from the brakes or wheel bearing.
