Hurdle #1. Mental approach. What's so good about these cats mate?
Sure they're the fastest guys now...but one of the biggest things generally stopping people like you joining them is your mindset.

Getting an opportunity to race against Sam and Craig is a massive bonus as it'll show me where I REALLY need to work for the nationals.
They have huge amounts of experience over you. You can't work on that. Just collect it. Try and latch onto one of them in a practice session and see how you go. Then look them in the eye and tell them you're gonna roost in their faces...or crash trying. Bet they give you a bit more room than usual after that.

Thanks bud. You know me, you know where my head is. I know I can foot it with these boys when we go toe to toe on a level playing field. I actually think my biggest asset is my relative obscurity, no one's gonna be expecting a nobody to come charging through these dudes.

    Arrow Nice WT.

Hopefully once I get my act together and more to the point, the car set up to be used independantly, I (or we) will be able to get to some races and watch you strut yer stuff. Sounds like a nice set up, hopefully things will just get better and soon we will all see you challenging the other top riders. Enjoy the bike and try to forget the work done to get it back to race trim. Only thing that is likely to do is to slow you down, bugger that.

    Hey White Crash,
I don't know if I want to take you out on the chair at the 'Have-a-go-day' in October.

Imagine if I injured the next NZ Superbike champ....... Fark, that wouldn't look good on my CV!!

    Keep it on two!!

Fark, up against Sam Smith. I might sit out one of the races just to watch that! Good luck with it, I reckon you can match him if you just keep riding how you have been (save for the crashing on cold tyres). Go for it

some of are expecting just that, not that we'd want you to feel pressured at all

Should be a great weekend with decent length races.
The guys you refer to are there primarily for testing and to rough out set-ups. So not too much should be read into the results, as there is a lot of work to be done.
