You can check out the scenery too, but when you want to pick up speed you don't have a wobbly lard arsed armchair hindering progress. I have nothing against cruisers, I'll throw my leg over one when I'm older. Say seventy or so lol !

    Oh. Dear.
Saddest part is, I read it all. Again. And laughed. Again.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Get a GSX1400

Then you get all the adrenaline rush you need, heaps of power through torque and cubes, awesome handling in the tight stuff, all day comfort, speed and all in a package way cheaper than most sports bikes including
    600's.

You can ride all day hard in comfort if you want, no sore wrists or neck (except when over 230kmh for prolonged periods) no sore knees and when you get where you want you can do it all over again. You have enough storage for a dog turd kit, a full set of waterproofs, tools, water bottle and disck lock etc and of course play lunch

Plus you can still do all that with a pillion who will also be comfortable.
But dude, if that thing ever goes down, you will need a mega crane to lift it back up...

Well if this is the welcome on KB and childish comments made by cruiser riders then all your doing is ruining cruiser rep. What a silly thread-you don't see sport riders complaining about cruisers. Are you guys feeling threatened by sport riders or something?

Most of the riders discussing this subject have known each other for years and are taking the piss in a friendly way. This is the norm for KB.

From time to time we do get some knob cheese that takes it seriously though

So cry babies do ride gixxers. Thought so.

Actually, sports riders do "complain" about cruiser riders. Just search for "waving" and you'll see.

P.S. You're not a sports rider. Like cars, the japanese don't make sports bikes. Only Italians make sports bikes.

    I'm pissed by the way.

    WHAT?????

    Someone please make it stop...please.

Look, I'll spell it out in simple terms so you can understand.

Cruisers are very much the minority. Cruiser riders know this, and accept the inevitable cruiser baiting, bashing, and pissing that comes from the sportsbike fraternity - most of which is good natured.

Sometimes the cruiser bashing gets a bit over the top and repetitive. At the time of starting this thread (a year ago!!!!), the vast majority of new threads in the cruiser section were in fact cruiser bashing.

For a laugh, I took quotes from several of these threads, and changed them over to a sportsbike baiting thread.

The vast majority of people understood the joke, but there was an inevitable few that took umbrage.

Get over it, points, it was a joke that was well understood at the time.

If you don't feel welcome, you don't need to stay.

Actually, my thread raises a very valid point if I don't say so myself.

In the car world, we laugh at Japanese attempting to produce sports cars. The same must go for bikes. So basically, most of your guys riding gixxers are riding 2 wheeled WRX's.

    Take that and "Psssssshhhhhhh"

    Knob cheese?!................ ewwwwwwwww!!

Amusing thread Virago - for the silly buggers getting their knickers in a twist over a good dig and laugh, it's called taking the piss - we all do it from time to time between different bike styles, brands etc.

You need to a good sense of humour in KB boys and girlfriends, or you can always bugger off and join a car website or sit in the depression thread on a stool in the corner.

Every biker gets a wave or nod from me (except when I corner too fast and my boot goes flying as it hits the ground and I shit my pants....).

And if you have seen the tv ads for the new Subaru, you'd likely conclude as I did that the designers must have all sat down one night after smoking too much weed and said "lets design a really really ugly gay looking car".
