Interestingly enough he sounded EXACTLY the same with 1 arm as he did with 2.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Now when I saw BB King at the Town Hall in Christchurch a few years back: the first concert, King's banc had to use a kiwi drummer. I think he came from Auckland. No idea who he was but man...........did he know how to keep it tight.

My opinion may be contaminated by a number of variables, but two drummers that impressed the shite out of me live were the guys from Bailter Space and an outfit called Helmet.

No one's mentioned Jimmy Chamberlin from Smashing Pumpkins, and just like Bonham he has a jazz background too. Hats off to anyone that can carry multiple beats with different time steps and do it all whilst loaded on heroin.

I probably wouldn't have put Nick Mason in a top list, good, but not great. His book was a nice read, fairly light on the crazy rock and roll antics though.

When we saw Emmylou Harris' band a few years ago the drummer was a guy called Brady Blades, he was a jazz drummer originally (his brother is also a drummer, Brian Blades...) f*n amazing.

and having seen Jimmy Chamberlin also, he was bloody good.

    Buddy Guy?

Oh, and the drummer from Spinal Tap is INCREDIBLE.......

No one's mentioned Neil Peart? from Rush?

surely somebody's mentioned Neil? Only the most technically competent percussionist in the world?
