Damn I'm going to miss biking!!

Only three days until I bugger off overseas and away from any kind of motorbike for probably at least 18 months (unless I manage to hire one somewhere). I will be travelling continously so will not be able to buy a bike. I've had a number of awesome rides in the last week or two and I relaised how much I enjoy biking... however I can't stay here just for that

On a side note.... I had my first "big bike" experience today when I test rode a 636.... just magic....so smooth, powerful and easy to handle... how the hell do you guys hold on to your licences (I know some of you don't) it's so easy to find yourself going very quickly in not much time

You'll just have to hire one occasionally to fix that craving

Hire a bike. We hired a Harley Springer Softail in San Fran & rode down to Monterey - my wife's intro to motorcycling. A friend of mine toured Vietnam on an old english bike with sidecar - realised it was easier to ride (when he didn't have a passenger) by hoiking the sidecar in the air and keeping it balanced there while he rode along.

    Adventures aplenty.

Only when you are smuggling them OUT of third world countries, not when you are bringing them in

You just make sure you keep your 'protective' clothing on! Coz I think you may have too much fun playing with the punters to miss the other kinda riding too much!

All the very best Chisanga, it was good working in with you earlier this year with the Where Did You Ride and What Did You Practise..thread.

Where there is a will, there's a way, and I am sure you will find an opportunity or three.
