Yep, ask very politely. Now, what will we use to knock on their door with, I wonder?

Just remember the van might be stolen! But a polite knock on that guy's door is DEFINITELY a good idea.

    Looking forward to updates....

That's a start (address-wise). May I suggest that covert surveillance would be in order, before the direct approach. You want to catch this scum in such a way that there is no question of guilt. Then sort it.
Sorry to hear that yet another lovely bike has been taken, and fingers crossed for a quick result.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

That sucks the big one. Hope this guy is the thief-perhaps the Police could use some of the skills they picked up in Linwood recently, while recovering the bike!! Best of luck.

Thanks for that. I've left a message at the Oxford Police Station. I'll let them deal with it.
There was a witness to the abduction who said two big scary looking guys just picked the bike up and threw it into the back of the van. She knew something was wrong because she reckoned the owner wouldn't treat their bike like that. She didn't feel safe to confront them though so she went and told security.
