When I was in hospital for my ingrown toenail operation, one of the young guys in the same ward was there because of testicular torsion - from over-energetic dancing at a party, I recall.

He was taking it all quite well, though, still had his sense of humour - when I asked him what he was in for he said "I got my balls in a twist".

So, next time someone advises you not to get your balls in a twist, it may be because they're concerned for your safety.

Yeah, apparently he was enjoying the party, dancing like a dervish then twisted his body as part of his mean moves and "YEOUCH!"

They shaved him to prep him for the op, the nurse came in and said "How are you this morning? All bright-eyed and bushy-tailed?" and he replied "Not bushy-tailed any longer."

I understand that, despite what his humour and flippant comments might suggest, he was in quite a bit of pain because of it.

    Hahahahaha, watch their eyes.

And the over energetic dancing, poor bastard, going to a happy place then the world comes crashing down on him.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
