Doing the Tennessee Waltz with Miss Behavin'

Had the opportunity last week to attend the Boss Hoss rally at Dyersburg, TN (although as my time in the US was limited and my bike played up - had to tinker with the 4-barrel carb that feeds the 8.2 liter V8 engine :-) and the weather was terrific, when I could I rode). There were some stunning bikes to be seen at the rally however - a few pix attached.

    There were some 'different' bikes...

if you want your NOS right up front...
if you want to carry lots of luggage...
if your bike breaks down, the ultimate recovery vehicle....
a bike with a different kind of saddle...
    and the World's Biggest-Engined Indian?

1300 lbs dry weight does not like to turn quickly that is true - but they are extremely comfortable to ride. Very low CofG and a 27" seat height, plus 1st gear being good up to about 90 mph (and the 2nd of the 2 gears in the auto transmission being good for 166 mph :-) don't ask me how I know that) means that long-distance highway cruising is pretty effortless.

Hmmmm, those big fat bastards look all right (the bikes, not the americans). Some really cool looking artworks and worked engines. Nice pics RDJ.
