    Yep the All Blacks lost!
They always get the easy run, then when it gets to the tough teams they fuck up!
Just a lousy game and if they played like that they deserve to lose.
You can't blame the ref or the linesmen or whoever, it just comes down to the fact that if you play shit, you lose.
You stick to your stats if you like (best team in the world....blah blah, waah waah) but at the end of the day, the AB's played crap and lost!
Suck it up and be men about it.
Im sure the whole country will be in mourning now and gunning for someone to blame!
Its petty and pointless as far as Im concerned.

It's a shame for the AB's, however, NZ is too arrogant (media) when it comes to the AB's..they wanted England to win to make it easier for them..go figure.

So ref may not have been great, however, a great side should still win regardless and it is not as if the French won by a mile.

Sometimes you need to loose to win and I think the problem is that the AB's...and the Aussies normally win so get complacent.

Its call passion, you will find that with any sport any where in the world, the Ozzes will be feeling the same, but they will also be feeling a little better are the AB's performance today.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

Well...I'm not a huge fan of Rugby, but I have watched more (ABs) matches out of no more than armchair interest since living here than I ever did in the UK. I admit to getting caught up in the RWC frenzy and I also admit to gunning for the AB's at times when they are not playing England.

However, it seems to me that here in NZ there is a point where national pride gets taken over by what I call "talking up". The media is probably to blame too - and why wouldn't they get behind the national team after all? But now after the loss we will undoubtedly face a barrage of vitriol from so called "experts" both in the media and in the pub as to why everyone else was to blame except the team (the "team" being not just the players).

It happened in the UK after the 1966 Soccer WC. Suddenly England were the best in the world and how dare anybody prove otherwise? Seems to me the ABs suffer from the same hype. I'd say any team is only as good as its last game...even if the trophy is in the cabinet.

Sadly, some Kiwis show a similar arrogance when it comes to Rugby and the ABs. And they also seem quick to praise their team as winners , but with very little credit given to their opponents win or lose. I find this not just in Rugby.

Don't get me wrong... I was saddened by the loss, but when will New Zealanders realise that there is more to life than Rugby? Probably when Brits realise there is more to life than soccer I hear you say.

Check out stuff.co.nz for some interesting reading that proves my point.

Refereeing decisions will always come under fire - (especially when the Ref is pom!) There have been bad calls in the past and there will be bad calls in the future.

But it's only a game, so get over it New Zealand or you'll end up with a worse reputation than us poms for whingeing.

BTW The black tie worn by Mike McRoberts on TV3 was quite fitting I thought!

the way i see it, if we were leading by 20 point when the forward ass try happened noone would give a shit. play like shit, and the bad decisions really affect you. play well, and lead by 20 points, and the bad decisions make very little difference to the outcome.

France played a better game, and the ABs couldn't adapt to it. Personally I think G Henry did a good job prepping the team, but the captain never put his "Adaptability Cap" on.
    Never mind.
took the Daytona for a run out to Raglan. All is good in my world.
Bathurst about to start. See ya......

Not quite. We have to endure months of highlights and dissecting every move to find out why the abs lost.
