    Lets spot the non-original bits. As mentioned boomerang comstar rear wheel/ mufflers(look nothing like the originals btw), then there's aftermarket shocks (konis maybe), dual piston brake calipers and larger front disks ala FC/FD models. Any more?

    Do old bikes really handle that badly?

    Ive seen so many old big cheap (in decent condition) as bikes on TM throughout my time and must say how badly do they truely handle?

    Probably as well as, if not better, than the new triumph twins for under a eigth of the cost.

    There's plenty of aftermarket bits available for the more common old crappers too.

    Without actually seeing it in the flesh hard to say. That bikes reached the reserve already. Could go as high as 2500-3000 grand if it's as good as its made out.

    The FZ was the first of the cb900s so may even fetch more.

    They are good bikes, I have had one for years, the only thing witch I havent toched is the engine
