In some ways its a positive if a dingo dissappears with the silverware, if it in turn attracts back more dingos ( as will be happening ) it gives better racing and lifts the game.

We cannot have it all ways, if we attract other foreign nationals here to race and take their money then they are just as deserving of full and proper support. To that end people like Brian Bernard have been doing a great job.

The New Zealand rounds of the Australian Superbike Championship and Team Kiwi Motorcycle Racers TKMR. They would probably have to drop some of their rounds as they have plenty already. Or maybe just have one street race in Hamilton here. Wonder if we could get Paul "the rat" Radisich to ride for us.

No to Dingo's, No to Bulldogs, No to Eagles, No to Frogs, No to Leprichauns, No to Shinooks, & No to Samurais.............. Only a big YES to the humble Kiwi. + Remember Robert in the immortal words of Kevin Costner "If you beat them - they will come". (anyway)

It will of course be great to see all and sundry here - & the New Zealand season actually falls in quite nicely timing-wise for a lot of these guys, - woudnt it be great to see a trend with these guys starting to go "off-season racing" in Liddle ole NZ.

I can see Robert & Kerry's blurred arses now whizzing around the paddock trying to keep up with it all. Geeez I wish i had a thou to be out with the boys & just be part of it all, - its building up to something gooooood.

The only thing sillier than what you said would be to invite Clark along, then we would lose for sure

    If you beat what????

Just like the F1 racers used to do in the old days?

Why are you looking at their arses?

Craig would be a winner if Helen was there. She'd like a good looking man like him.

Would it be a bummer if the MV cant race here because it is a limited edition and not legal to race here.
Would it be a bummer if A certain Suzuki team in Auckland was told by a major sponsor to not use his own suspension he is an agent for, and to use Ohlins.

If it can be registered for use on NZ roads then it is eligible

Not sure what MNZ homologation entails but it has to be no older than five years for Production Superbikes according to the rulebook/manual.

So I'm assuming you can no longer race a K2 or earlier machine.

You're allowed pre 1998 bikes and the rules are open for those machines

    What's the go with that?

If I pop down to the shop and buy a 10litre container of "SPEED" concentrate (which for a limited time comes with a free testicle growth hormone) I can't compete on my 2000 model R1...but someone can compete on anything made before 1998? Incidentally the "SPEED" product and TGH are the very same (totally legal!) products as used by Craig "gorilla balls" Shirriffs.

Product disclosure statement:Note that the manufacturers claim no responsibility for the above mentioned riders' wide kneed stance due to excessive TGH use and put this down to a mini-bike/barbed wire fence accident at a young age.

Seriously, the Superbike grids were pretty disappointing numbers wise last year, so if I was an organiser I'd be trying to include as many early GSXR, R1, CBR, ZX9 riders as I could. Fair enough, focus on quality rather than quantity, but pre-1998 seems to put the lie to that.

Oh yeah, after a battling year last year my money is on the Craig, SPEED , TGH combo to bounce back.
