lol when are you at taupo next? Maby a lap or two as a warm up? (or is it not before the next have a go day?)

We have a major preventative maintenance strip down ahead now. We will be out for my Taupo Road Race Spectacular on Dec 27th and 28th. Maybe you could jump on for a 'quiet one' then.......... BUT, it is on the twisty track two, and theres shite loads of corners to try to spit off a swinger...... hee hee......

Theres a reason Scrivy is the driver and Sidecar Bob is the swinger, you should have gone with Scrivy, then you'd still be knackered, look at me and Kiwifruit. I've got a lot of respect now for the fitness of a swinger to do a couple of long races in a day, let alone a weekend!!!

We are happy with the engine top end - will still do a comp test and valve timing, but we are refreshing the box - it gets a hammering as you could imagine! Will look at clutch also.
The brakes get pulled apart and re-sealed. New chain, new rubber, check all wiring, wheel/stearing head bearings, check oil scavenger pump, check , new battery, fix up fibreglass, new exhaust brackets fitted, etc etc..... not alot of engine stuff, just checking everything in general. DNF's are a bastard............
