Auckland to Tauranga Sat 20th

I'm heading down to Tauranga this Saturday, planning on going through Matamata and over the Kaimais. Haven't done this on the bike before, just wondering if theres any roadworks or anything I should be watching out for?

Shouldnt be any around the kaimais, just a point to slow down on just before tauriko (just before entering tauranga)

Watch out for cops on 27, they are thick as flea's on a dogs arse down there
