    where opinion holds more weight than fact.

    It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

    Mmmm, yes and no... I'm a bit over the high gloss carbon... the matt finish autoclave cured bits are definitely sexy, can find pics if you like

    I think I ended up buying that carbon exhaust your mate made for the 02 R6. That thing was sweet and I didn't have any problem with the carbon fiber

    VER = Vinylester Resin

    Are you post curing it? I've built a wee oven for the purpose, soon to be a bigger model

    What type of laminate are you using, and how many layers? 195gm ish? 5 layers?

    VER = vynlester.... ahhh got ya
    Fibre glass first layer (as carbon won't flex enough to remove from the mould) then two layers of carbon. Havn't decided wot weave to use yet.. yeah it has to be post cured. Otherwise the resin we have wont actually cure.. Be interesting to see how well it comes out as it will have to be hand layed, wont be a mould finished exterior. tooo hard to do

    It should be easy enough to make a multi piece mold, but of course laying it up is then the challenge Perhaps infusing it with an internal presurised bladder might be the go?

    Are you bagging it or infusing it? I assume bagging? What temp are you post curing at?

    shityarn cunts you are all going to crack stiffys over my pictures next week lol

    I just quickly read this thread and it seems some of you know what you are on about, its cool that you guys are set up yourselves, (eg making an oven)
    pm me some pics of what you guys are up to and maybe I could help with any questions you might have about - prepreg, resin infusion, vacuum bagging etc
    Confident the aprilia rsv4, IS the one
