Was great to see such a turnout of bikes for Dan, and I would like to thank the family for allowing us to attend and be apart of the ceremony.
I have a number of photo's of the family with the sidecar as backup to "Commando" GIJoe's photo's. If someone can give me an address to send them to I will put them on a disc.
He kept edging towards the block, basically indicating move it or I will push you over. Saw this as I approached and went to join the block but a few others saw it and beat me to it. Think 5 bikes blocked him in the end.
As for that truck, he was an absolute git, besides being down right dangerous how he pushed past the block in to the bikes coming around the intersection.

Not only were they blocking him but he was sitting on the car horn so one of those blocking the car sat there saluting him with a single digit the entire time his horn was sounding. He also got surrounded by Vespa's so he may have ended up rather intimidated. That or he's such an arrogant twat nothing will ever change his opinion that he's god.

Very sorry to have missed it . Was thinking of the family and Dan.

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.
It was an honour to ride in the procession, an overwhelmingly surreal ride, one full of pride and sorrow.
Much love to John, Kate and Melanie for sharing Daniels last ride with us all.
Gina and Mark.
Om nom nom.
This comes a little late, but been quite busy.
Like Zapf, on behalf of the family I would like to thank all those who attended. They were really touched, and we all know that Dan would have really have loved every minute of it (the sidecar would have been a real highlight for him).
I also want to thank all those who assisted with "Traffic Management". You know who you are, and it is with your help, that the convoy arrived safely in one impressive line.

No need to rush a thankyou post.... For now, concentrate on you and your family.. At the moment it is what is more important... If any of you need anything don't ever hesitate to ask... You have a whole lot of support right here on kb.. And people are happy to help in what ever way possible..
Love
