    New bike! Huzzah!

Well, after much wailing, screaming and gnashing of teeth, the wifey thing has relented (my tantrums worked!) and I today picked up my new ride!

    Behold!

The '88 Intruder VS700 that has usurped Rosey the two-fiddy. and after next weekend will be carting my carcass to and fro!

Purchased via Tardme, and funnily enough a KBer (Markl - top bloke with a SHINY M50!) for a very good price. (Though certain domestic controller will make mileage of this for many moons to come...)

It's low, it's heavy and it's BLARDY noisy - no wonder I feel so comfortable, hard not to with so many similarities shared between the two of us...

Bike was ridden back by the esteemed Blue Thunder of C90 Boulevard fame, what with me being a paranoid nana and no full licence yet, though he did park it the wrong way round in my drive, so naturally I had to put my gears on and run it round the bloke once or twice to make sure it was lined up for the gargre...

Anyway, here are some pics - I'm off to the garage for a beer and a drool...

Just don't give them to the wife, she'll use them for other nefarious reasons!

Well negotiated. I don't think half the people on here really know the extent of your skills. With two young offspring and a dishwasher in tow, you take negotiation to a - whole - naaarva - level.

What did you do with the little rosey coloured Soursaki.

She's quivering in the gargre, awaiting next Sunday when she will be used to purloin a licence of fullness from the VTNZ, then she will be un-ceremoniously thrown to the masses for sale, to be loved and tended to by someone other than me.

Cos I have a new toy.

    And it's better.

    YAY!

Hahaha very nice mate. You've wanted a cruiser since the get-go, haven't you?

It's the chrome that gets you going.

No wonder it's loud, it hasn't got any frigging silencers. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh. Wire spoke wheels, yay! Now we can share tips on how to clean them.

Take care on it, I'm sure it won't bite you though, even a 1300cc Yammie cruiser I rode was as docile as a GN250, and you're a sensible rider. Enjoy scaring little children by blipping the throttle

    Congrats Donor

nice bike....and I hear she has been christened Bell...short for either decibel or bluebell...most appropriate really following your theme of daisy for the yellow bike, rosey for the red and now bluebell for the blue one....Welcome Bell....and no...the hubby isnt allowed to buy rosey...
I see your lips moving and all I hear is "blah blah blah"
