different strokes and all that, but if riders were in charge of road design and construction, what are the features you would ensure?
myself, i would relegate all cagers to the existing roads, and build bike only roads alongside the cager ones.

Love these if I won Lotto threads.
Perfect road for me would have to be Cage Free like yours, with long, uphill, slightly banked, high speed corners that change from left to right every 500m or so. A mix of Italy and French Alps scenery and a dash of German Autobahn for speed testing (not on my bike).
We would also need German road engineers to immigrate out here to make sure they last. Watched Inframax down this way piss around resealing a 1 km stretch of road over 2 months and then redoing it less than 12 months later and its still cutting up rough.

To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
A good single track through a pine forest, no dust or ruts, good challenging climbs, some nice water crossings with gorgeous girls in bikinis swimming in them!! Good pub at the end to finish with a sober drive to drive me and my mates home!!
