yeah, I know that I said that before... but it still doesnt change my oppinion that people should get their arse into gear, especially if they're in a shop with phones, coz most people don't have much knowledge about phones and expect the people in the stor to be able to help them. (clothing etc is different.. which was the type of work i was referring to in that post)

Well I know shit all about clothes, so may need a little help. It really doesn't matter what job you are getting paid to do, if you're getting paid to do it, you should do it or move on.

this is true... but what i meant, was that people are more likely to want informed help about phones, than clothing. that kinda thing.. in general (yea i am geeralising here) people are fine to go frolicking around a clothing store to pick stuff they like with no help. in a phone store, people need to have the info before they buy.

How do you know if you are not going to ask / offer - regardless of the product / service on offer?

I'm with Mrs K on this one. Although specifically we are talking about customer service here - or the lack thereof - regardless of the job, if you are paid to do it then you need to do it!

if you dont have the $$ save up and get one.

and im sure you can get a new battery for less than 89 bux, try duncs or hels battery in it and see if it is the battery noob

Imagine my surprise at the astoundeding lack of product knowledge when I asked the friendly supermarket checkout operator which of the six boxes of condoms id brought to the checkout was best....

I mean, how am supposed to know whether to choose Ribbed or Studded.... cripes.

first of all, i just GOT a new fone for 89 bucks.. and second of all I DONT AHVE THE SAME PHONE AS THEM!!! it's indy, mag and helen who have the same phone.. i'm not a copier like duncan lol .. I had the coolest phone. hence I couldnt try the battery.. NOOB!

edit: yes I get annoyed when people think I have the same phone as them i dont know why
