    Details of the TV opportunity

Could all of the bikers be at TVNZ by 7.15am, in our outdoor carpark off Hobson Street, which is just beyond the intersection of Victoria and Hobson Streets?

The live operators and I will meet them up there at 7.15am. If it’s fine weather we’ll ride into the courtyard as planned. If it’s wet weather it’ll be too slippery to ride into the courtyard and we’ll ride into the carpark instead.

We’ll probably start our brief journey just after the intersection, where there are on-the-road parking bays. Then we’ll just ride up into either the courtyard or the carpark. On screen it won’t look like we’ve only ridden a matter of metres but for timing’s sake I think that’s all we can do! We’ll be live on air at 7.40am.

Dunno about the 'too slippery' bit. But anyway, if y' want the chance of stardom, be at the TVNZ carpark as above 7:15 Wednesday morning.

Hmmm... well I don't see any biker chicks enrolled so far... and since I really do ride to work every day anyway... I might as well join in the fun!

The TVNZ courtyard is tiled and can be pretty hazardous even to walk on in the wet. Wouldn't look too good if one of the bikes comes to a stop, rider puts foot down and ends up in a heap on live TV.

On second thoughts, it could be the beginning of a notorious KB legend.

Dave C will be coming along too on the SV. I hope we end up in the TVNZ carpark - it will be funny when all the car alarms go off

I shall give space to the festive reporter that makes sport in the courtyard. The question remains, however, as to whether I shall explode my exhaust box at the cameraman rather than going soothingly by.

That depends on if you can sound your horn melodiously.
