Yeah looked and sounded like a TL to me. News said they had the plate of the bike, so either stolen or dude riding it had a mental breakdown...

Hypocrites, if this wasn't on the TV most of you would be saying good on him for gettin away, although I'm not condoning the riders actions, but bike may be stolen or rider may not know he was chased, might be just some dork goin too fast.

it wasn't a TL it was a k7 .. and they didn't get my plate or me.

The coppers get a DNF and i got a

bunch of losers.. they get paid for it and i do it for shits and giggles

Sorry to burst ya bubble mate, but I've never said 'Good one on getting away from the pigs mate' as I don't think it is a smart thing to do a runner.

And I don't think you would be able to not notice the cop cars right behind you just cause you're going fast..

Its actually quite amusing, (if you look beyond the whole makes-us-look-bad-and undermines-the-cheesecutter-campain thing). Look how many cops there are!

Great shots of the cops coming up over the rise. Cameraman in the right place at the right time.

The rider is a bit of a plonker tho.. I hope it turns out to be a stolen bike.

I certainly didn't say doing a runner is smart, and yes, he is a dork for doing that sort of speed, it's just everyone seemed to jump to one conclusion and yet in many other threads where cops and cameras aren't involved, many many kiwibikers would be praising his ability to go so fast. I say keep this sort of speed on the track, that's all.
