Pushbike average speed 25Kph so unless you're riding at that speed your argument hold no weight.

There's plenty good quality, light and ventilated motorcycle gear out there. Hell, they could wear a light denim jacket. It's just that some folks spend 20 grand on their bike but won't spend 200 bucks on their safety gear. I mean no gloves, for fucks sake. I'm sure pose value has nothing to do with their decision. No wonder half the car drivers think we're brain dead scum.

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

Once came round the corner in my car, to find a mini chopper heading my way.

He'd wandered onto my side of the road due to waving at some people at a house on his right. *1

Managed to stop (speed appropriate to residential area) and he got a fright and went round me.

Now, maybe it's his choice not to wear any safety gear, but if he'd hit me he'd have left a whole lot more blood on my car than if he'd been properly covered. *2

*1: Maybe that's why he had no gloves?
    *2: Speaking of cover: "insurance"???
Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

That's just beyond idiocy... What a gem!
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

The trouble is that these people don't just put the chlorine in their own gene pool, they affect others too.

My partner and I will see people like these on the road and just look at each other, shake head and say "statistic"

their head is below car door window height and they're completely unprotected!

now while i personally will not ever ride without gloves, helmet and a decent layering of clothes (usually jeans/codura jacket for commuting, full kit for riding), i don't want it to be forced upon me by law until (if) acc is thrown out (cause the drivers will be responsible for their medical bills)

3rd party insurance on the other hand, should be mandatory. i have full cover for that exact reason, younger brother was not so smart (turns out small claims are a waste of time)

    Oi'm saddened.

Surely we can find something else to spend energy on? Something that isn't about compelling others to behave how we want them to?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I had no idea Darth Vader could still wear a T-Shirt and look so good with all those bits missing!
