E.g. my girlfriend is doing research at the hospital here in Chch. Usually when they're done with a blood sample they just chuck it in the sink. This is obviously not good enough for the maoris... no, no, the blood needs to be fucking blessed before they can chuck it out!

Almost no maoris are organ donors because they state that their traditional values are opposed to it. Bullshit, traditionally they'd take the heads of their fallen comrades home and bury them! (And no, I'm not making this one up either!)

But the worst bogus bullshit I've heard about from in there was this: They were taking a project proposal through all the necessary bureaucratic institutions(e.g. ethical commitee, maori commitee, ) necessary to get it approved. Their project had been approved by the maori commitee already but was then failed at the ethical commitee because their testing group didn't include any maoris!!! I mean FFS it's not like there are heaps of maori willing to participate in medical test as it is - and doing research on the impact of genetic profiles on drug usage requires that you have a fairly consistent testing group. I was just dumbfounded!

Yeah, the neo nazis have got no fucking clue about what they are celebrating. Right fuckwits they are. If they had seen or experienced the pain and suffering caused by WW2 - or just known anyone who had - I reckon they'd get on track pretty quickly.

The stories I heard from my grandfathers (RIP), who were in the Danish resistance movement against the german occupation, were very interesting indeed.

Oh, did I forgot to mention that I think the maori culture is pretty cool in and off itself. It's the whinging PC stuff that sucks. Pull your head out. Bigot.

It's a bloody shame that someone doesn't decide that those child murderers are cursed and try to vigorously remove the makutu from them . . . interesting that the family went after someone who was by all accounts a gentle and inoffensive sort.

The reason she was chosen as she was believed to be "the weakest link".... As in the curse was mostly likely to effect her, or something similar. Ironic isnt it?! I feel very sorry for her children.

I usually don't take sides. It ruins my objectivity.

If by darkies you imply people with maori, polynesian or african heritage - I wouldn't say lots, but there are a couple though. I certainly would never "deselect" anyone for social intercourse on those grounds.

Racial intolerance is unfortunately a 2-way street and it's not just the white man who plays that game.

Que?? Just which side of the argument are you on??
Besides, what's bigotted about being against state-sanctioned mumbo-jumbo? When that very same state won't allow christian-value teachings in schools etc...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

You could almost argue it's ritualised Darwinism then can't you?
