I've been there from both sides and am qualified to say that.

Everyone makes mistakes, but if you did what you describe, and didn't learn from it, I have nothing but contempt for you.

    You'd obviously do it again.

I reiterate - you'd be wise to avoid meeting me in person.

I have to agree. Plenty of exceptions out there. My girlfriend is very 'fit' and has a great personality to match (great sense of style and music too). And I know plenty of girls that fall under the 'the world hates me for my looks so I'll hate you too' type, who can be the bitchiest of all.

With the exception of recent times when I've got a brilliant girlfriend, it would be much easier if I wasn't into relationships and rather I was into promiscuous sex. After all, there was that study that suggested that women here are easier than the guys. TV has us believing girls are looking for love, guys are looking for sex, but I reckon it's turned the other way around.

Perhaps I need to have been married and subsequently cheated on to understand.

I wont deny I enjoy the rush, I just see it as someone that is married makes a choice?

Why become elevated towards me if there is obvisouly something you could instead, teach me? Is life that much of a competition! Criky.

It's got nothing to do with life being a 'competition'. That statement makes no sense in this context.

The pain of being cheated on is awful. It's in the ballpark with having someone you love die. Not the same, but in the ballpark.

Your rationalisation for your involvement in adultery is akin to an illegal arms dealer offloading blame for the death of women and children onto the corrupt regime that pulls the trigger.

Your actions directly caused horrible suffering, and you think that that's cool.

    You disgust me.

    Wow, Dan, that was entertaining.
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

Ever been cheated on? Doesn't feel good, worst thing I've been through (in my young life mind you). And I wouldn't want to inflict that upon anyone else even if it means I don't get any that night

Not quite - it's a breach of trust on your partners behalf. And while that may end a relationship (causing it to die) - one part of the relationship actively chose to allow the opportunity.

Your rationalisation for your involvement in adultery is akin to an illegal arms dealer offloading blame for the death of women and children onto the corrupt regime that pulls the trigger.
Let's face it - anyone can get laid if they want to. What you are proposing is closer to blaming every arms manufacturer in the world for the presence of corrupt governments (not that there's no connection).

Let's face it, you don't own your partner. You choose to trust your partner at your own risk. Marriage is just an expression of trust in one person. If you partner fucks around on you then it's not whoever she fucked around with who's to blame. There are many ways a relationship can deterioate into a situation in which infidelity may occur - but any relationship takes TWO people and exist only in the space between these two people.

I had my first girlfriend doing stupid things behind my back at the end of our relationship. I never let myself get bitter about it or get angry with her or with the fella she was messing around with. For me it was just another indication that this wasn't going to work out...
Don't know how I would feel if it was my partner today who messed around behind my back. I'd be devestated, but I'd never EVER try and blame anyone besides her and myself for it! (Hey, I'd fuck my girlfriend, why would someoneelse not want to?)
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

I am actually surprised to see post that you have had sex with a married woman. You complain bitterly about flame threads, and then you post something as stupid as that for comment.

I will agree 200% with jrandom's opinions regarding that kind of behaviour. I will aslo attempt to "educate" you. Anyone that is married, man or woman is OFF LIMITS!!! Regardless of whether they are unhappy at home, drunk and horney or plain gagging for it! It is never ok!

I read your posts where you pursued this woman, and even boasted when you suceeded. You have no moral fibre in my opinion.

I did hear on the radio that people whos name starts with A, B, & C - generally get a,b or c's in school/uni and the same with peoples names that start with D, E, F etc generally get poor marks. Also we apparently subconciously choose partners whos name starts with the same letter as ours. Creepy.
Interesting! I know several people called Aaron and they are arseholes! My husband is an Andrew and he's lovely, and it's not just me who thinks that. I agree with the Mark thing - every Mark I have met has been a tosser. I know lots of guys called Steve and I dislike most of them - two exes were called Steve so that's where that comes from!

My name starts with F and I've just done enough to graduate with a Massey degree next year, so that's stuffs that theory. And my husband's name doesn't start with the same letter as mine, so bang goes another theory.

    But fun all the same!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    Ever been married?

Don't make the mistake of equating a 'girlfriend' with someone that you stand beside and promise (before God, if you happen to believe in one) to spend the rest of your life with and be faithful to.

Precisely; there is a connection, and it's a pretty fucking important one, too.

    As I do of Disco.

If you want to fuck a woman who's with someone else, the honourable thing to do is to tell her that you'll talk to her once she's terminated her existing relationship and clearly communicated to her partner the reasons that she considers it unsustainable.

If you just want casual sex, there are plenty of unattached women out there who will be happy to treat you as a life support system for a penis.
