    Bike buying advice

Hey folks I have a quandry.I've done some reshuffling of the finances and I can afford a bike around $4000.
Im not commuting on a bike so it doesn't need to be practical
But much as a sprot bike really apeals to the rest of my body--my left arm/wrist just aint up to it.
Ive sat on and love the yamaha fz1 -its neutral to ride but waay outa my price range and if Im honest just a tadd too heavy at the mo
Im wondering about buying a sprot bike and doing a stunt setup -MX bars etc then fitting a handlebar fairing.
    What would you lot suggest?
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

Don't come more relaxed than this and it's cheap... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=126494407
But this is probably more what you'd be into... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo....htm?key=81167
At this price, you could make those changes you mentioned...http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo....htm?key=81167
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Try an VFR750?

Believe me, Honda has got the riding position right! However Im not sure if the older VFR's are as comfy as the new ones

Interesting stuff dude, I've got a thread running about bikes that don't hurt my legs, and you've got one now about bikes that don't hurt your wrists.

I wonder how much crossover there'll be?

    My old bike...

That SRAD is my old bike and man did it haul arse!!

One of those times when you have to sell a bike you really like but trying to start a business and have to get rid of some toys!!

One of those bad feelings when you hope your bike will go to a good home and when you drop it off have a hunch that it won't.

Really did deserve better. I did the KB Opononi weekend in 04/06 on it?

I vote sports bike modified to street fighter.

Motard....Good upright riding position, lots of power depending on cc of course, and very lightweight bikes.

Easy to handle, and controls should be easy on the wrists.

*whispers* or you could be like me and drive a cage instead lol!

My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
