700-750cc max and then you start loosing efficiency.
That's why the SOS racers are around that size.

Well 50Hp and 120Kg - surely thats got to be competitive with the Japanese or Euro 450's provided it can take the punishment.
I wouldn't mind wipeing the shine off those tyres to find out?
What are Hyos.., Heyayoo.. Yooohh.. those things like for build compared to the Jap bikes anyway.

Bit of a mixed bag really - I've heard some people that swear by them but equally I've heard of a few owners that just swear at them.

I was considering a GT650R at one point but got a Ducati 600ss instead coz it was about half the price.

The KTM 450EXC is something less than 110kg dry and something more than 50hp...
    Cheers,

Not a bad looking wee bike, i'd say you'd see more of them on the street (if they are able to be road reg'd) than you would on the race track

65% of the bike for 50% of the price. Alright, just don't expect to pay $6k for a brand new bike and then compare it with something that costs more than $10 thou cos you know what the answer is. If you can live with the bits that need work for the lower price they're fine.

Can't comment on the motard cos I haven't been on one but I give mine a good caning and it's holding up just fine.
I'm selling my new riding gear!! Only worn a few times get a deal Kiwibikers!!
