What do i say? Not sure really.

Frosty, I dont think I have ever met you but I have a great ammount of respect for what you have done and said.

Personally you made me very proud to be associated with this board when, as a result of an accident, my bike was off the road. You offered me help and assistance down to the offer of a loaner bike. You dont know how much that was appreciated and how much it restored some of my faith in bikers. This faith in the biking spirit I have been a part of for 36 years.

I've been on this board now for a couple of years in two personas. In that time I have seen this sort of treatment become more and more prevalent. It saddens me. I am a very quiet and personal person (in real life) and have come to look upon a few of the members of this board a real friends, dont say it is sad as its just the "internet". in the days before such there was a thing called "PEN PALS" and the interaction between coorespondants was just the same only less of a real time activity.

I log onto this board everyday and leave it running all day. Why because my job is dealing with these damm machines for 8 hours a day and it gives me somethng different to deal with other than users. I have found that I am skipping about 95% of the content as it doesnt mentally stimulate or entertain me or even educate me. Over the past couple of years I have noticed a decline in the number of bikers I would describe as characters. The ones who were passionate about bikes (our chosen common interest), the ones who loved a good arguement, the ones who would call a spade a spade. This site has become sanitised. Its lowering itself to the malignant disease of Political Correctness and in my opinion is the worse off for it.

I'll continue to watch, I'll interject occasionally but I cant see myself initiating any more posts or engaging in any real and meaningfiul discussions any more.

Yes, but will he be inclined to? One day you may find yourself in a similar situation. You give generously and unreservedly of your time and advice and labours, you have earned the respect of your peers (note I said earned, not demanded) then you recieve a kick in the teeth. Kinda dulls your enthusiasm and makes you question if it is really all worth while don't it?
Who could blame Frosty if he did withdraw this stuff? No one, so who then?
If I could name any biker who would do anything for anyone, it would be Frosty. Proof of action will always trump words...

Maybe we don't NEED to know what's behind this decision, but a bit of common courtesy goes a long way towards making this a nicer place to hang out.
Frosty has a lot of friends here, and we'd like to know whether or not his sacking is something to be pissed about. By not telling us it just raises animosity that isn't needed.
If there's nothing to hide, why hide it?

Take it or leave it is what we must do. Bullshit indeed!

Frosty is the face and main driving force behind these trackdays, he does it for the love of motorcycling and bringing opportunities to other KBers. Note that he ALWAYS calls them Kiwibiker Trackday #... If he makes a little coin out of it, so what, it's small recompense for all he does for anyone who asks

    Merde.
100% agree with you Merde. My visits to this site are getting further and further apart. Now it is generally to check the Calendar to see if there is anything organised.

I for one have better things to do with my time. Wading through all of the dross on here is becoming too much of a effort. In the last couple of weeks we have lost a couple of people on here who IMHO did add value (Frosty and BuckBuck1).

I know where people generally meet/ride so will just turn up. If they are there then great. If not, I'm quite happy to go for a blast by myself. I have mates who I just need to ring and will be there. I don't NEED my KB fix anymore.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Soooo, lemme see if I got this right after reading the above few posts: Frosty got the heave-ho because he was not P.C. enough?

I'll bring Toby he will support! hahahha. Wheeling the RF...may I have 10 mins privacy with it.... LOL

Ok I've read the thread...its erm....well...there are two sides to every story. I make no conclusions on this. Something happend for a reason what it was who cares. Frosty knows who his friends are....And Im sure he's made enough life long biker mates because of who he is as a person.

He's got respect from alot of members on here because of his passion for biking, will help anyone, and take newbies under his wing.

When things start getting political, the passion slowly dies...and hate sets in. I hope this isnt the case. A true biker will always keep riding.

I dont want to know the details behind whats happend. I'd much rather be out riding with friends enjoying fun times having laughs look at the positive not negative...and remember this is just the internet! Its supposed to be about the online biker community there will be disputes, personalities clash...so what? You are behind your screen....you can just switch the pc off and walk away...so technicially it could be a perfect world but shesh it'd be too boring.

Life is too short to worry about this.

Frosty and his family will always be friends of mine, they have never done anything to turn me agasint them.

How very sad that this site may lose someone of Frosty's calibre, because of some issue that we are not privy to.
The fact that the mods will not publicly state what happened to cause this only increases feelings of "us" vs "them" for lots of people.
As others have said, some transperancy would be invaluable right now.
There are not two sides to a story, there are three.....his, theirs, and the truth! I, for one, would like to know what that is.
Far too many good people are becoming disillusioned with KB lately and leaving.
I don't see too many stepping up to fill their shoes....
Frosty, I hope that we will still see you around

Very true, bout the third side to the story....

Maybe this is what the mods want "Them" and "us" Would it make them better bikers on the roads than us? I'd like to see them out do some of my biking skills if that were the case..

Carver and Sidewinder...check out their profile...Im surprised their riding position pics didnt get censored!! Hmm no nudity...just a bloody good laugh.

When I first joined it was alot of laughs and hell of alot of fun online...why? cos its just online lol....but now that Dover, Winja etc are gone...its not the same.

Ey Frosty, I think you've been real hard done by, but today is a new day, so I'll go a bit off topic. TRUST, yeah I trust you 100%.......RESPECT, yeah the utmost.................obviously a LOT of people on this site feel the same. Just to cheer ya up (& maybe piss off some others) next time you're down here let's dig out some exotic old Euros and have some fun riding (that's what life's all about).......or maybe some exotic Jappas as well........ and then there's always the newer bikes hehehe Friends will always be there for ya !!

I only have one thing to say. FIGHT FOR HIM!!.

I haven't been here that long but I totally agree with the comments about the site changing for the worse and being far less a of a laugh, And this has been said quite a few times over the last year!!! Ever since SpankMe gave over the power! I now mainly hang out in the Off road thread, its just not as funny anymore on the other threads.

And if KB is not a Democracy why hasn't SpankMe stepped in??

The least someone could do is tell us what the fuck is going on! This seems like a pile of shit and the general Joe blow biker can't be bothered with this crap and will just drift off to a happier place, and not come back to KB.

Getting back to the above. I haven't ever met Frosty or been to any of his track days but if this is a decision made by a few against the wishes of the many.
All those who have been the benefit of his hard work and know him need to FIGHT FOR HIM!!.
Start a poll, PM the shit out of the mods, complain to Spank, do a protest ride!! I dunno how! I haven't been here long enough.
But most of the latest posts have been goodbye posts and that's just rolling over and dying!!

Its up to you guys that have attended his track days, benefited from his advice or have met him!!

    Rant over!

Seems like we have had a real Kangaroo Court. None of the Mods have said much so basically this is about a personal attack started by one person against one other person. How the f%$k is this anything to do with KB. By staying quiet you Mods look like you're running for cover hoping this will all blow over in a day or two. WRONG !!!! For a start, surely one of a Mod's jobs is to explain their actions where necessary, and another would be to confine their action re site members to 'Site Stuff Only'. Maybe we need some new Mods
