Good question, I have an issue with someone being a "MOD" . That can create a sense of superiority in some people, sometimes this can be referred to as power crazed, up them selves, PC police and one hundred other things, most of them 10, or 20 point infractable comments.
We are all members here, including the Mods.
I think that any breach of site rules should be dealt with by "site admin"
You have received an infraction by "site admin" not "tom" or "dick" or "harry" By the same token, Moderators should be anonymous, suggestions called for and Mods chosen, on a rotating basis. I personally dont want to know who they are. That way I cant get in trouble for calling one of them a #$%*, unless my post is reported to "site admin" for moderation. Simple really, this will remove any ego from the equation, as I really hope that the rules for Moderation are as strict as the rules for site membership.
Could I ask a simple question? Why have a lot of posts been removed to that red forum?
I have read them and other than one or two none are off topic.
i would also like for them to be unknown... we would know they are there, but not where, when or who.
ive only met one, chanceyy, and though i like her, and would ride with her any day of the week, i did feel a tad tense simply due to her being a mod. i expected online lives to cross into offline, and didnt want to step out of line. i feel i would have been a whole heap more relaxed if i didnt know she was a mod.

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.
Aye Joni you want to make some of the PM's public or would you like a third party to do it?
I've often wondered why anyone would want to be a Moderator on this or any site? Probably the same thing that makes people want to be a politician.
I think I understand - the MODS ride Vespas???
Before you go ahead with that I would remind you both that publishing a pm without the senders permission is a clear breach of the site rules
One question I would also ask, is everyone very certain that they want a reply from the mod team on why he was removed

However as I have no idea of whats happening, I guess I'll never know. Bummer Frosty, hope your other motorcycle exploits go well. Dunno if you should be expected to leave the site though. Thats a bit much?
Not sure Kickaha, I think there are many here that will say yes to that. However I'm not sure if I'd be a better person for knowing someone elses's business. Time for me to go and look for something else to do as for todays KBer effort, the only decient thread I've read was about Supermotards. I'd bugger off and go for a ride if I could, maybe others could benefit from one also?
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
I know i haven't been a mod for too long but as I understand it a 10 point infraction is the highest, and is only for abuse to a mod. What is a 20 point infraction? Obviously as this is "most" of them it should be easy for you to give an example.
Most of the infractuions I've given are 2 points, but there have been a feww 8 pointers, and even the odd 10.
Time to ride
