Unequal angle aluminium, 100x50x3 420 long WTB.

Title pretty much says it all. I'd pay up to $20 for it and can pick it up in Auckland. If you work with Aluminium and have an offcut like this or even kinda like it I need to make a new chain guard.

Or if you have some sheet and could bend me one up (I could bend it but it'd look shitty) that'd be wicked.

I just don't wanna by a whole 5m length is all.

    Thanks.

    Always plenty of off cuts

Yeah that'd be awesome Boobs. I used to have a guy up here that'd do the old six pack off-cuts but I went to where he used to work the other day and there were all new people there.

Give Malcolm at Warkworth Sheet metals a ring 09 425 7366, give him the dimensions and measurements and he will bend one up for you no worries. I work for an aluminium joinery company and we use him all the time for the tricky bits and pieces......top guy and good prices too!

The other option is to buy a hugger as most of em serve as a chain guard as well.

Yeah they are available for the Hyo's. WarlockNZ has one that looks nice and tidy. I can't really justify the $$'s either. One of my mates does fibreglass stuff so I might try to make one, they offered to do it for me but I like to try to do stuff myself.

Meh, if I had the skills I'd make tons of flash stuff for any bike, not that I'm gifted in the making stuff dept. but like to give stuff a go.

Uncle Boobs Aluminium emporium is open for business

I was thinkin this arvo that when I get home ill have to post up to let you know the Ali your after could come up anywhere between today or in 3 months time, no real way for me to know so if your patient then no drama. Not more than 10 mins after that thought & there it appears before my eyes

It's not the exact measurements but pretty close.

    70 x 40 x about 2.5 I think

    420mm long

Hope that works for ya. Also I cut two pieces in case you nurf the first one so you can have a wee praccy on it

ps: Also I took the liberty of polishing it up to a near mirror finish, hope ya don't mind

Just pay for whatever postage comes too.

pps: I won't be able to post it until next week as im on overtime all week.

Thanks buddy, I'll get the tape measure out tomorrow to see that the 70 will be long enough, The other dimensions aren't so important, I got out some old 3mm angle that is way to short but just to play and thinner is GOOD! Easier for me to work.
