Free Scott Watson.......with every packet of Weetbix.

Every country has it's fair share of ambiguous arrests - I assume this is one of New Zealand's.

What sort of bike does he ride?

He rides the wind. I could make a case for the comparison. But not much point as he 'banged up' at the moment.

Absolutly,i bear you no malice at all mate and i respect most of your posts on the subject but will add that if and when he is released i would rather its you or at least another of his supporters lives that he affects, because if released have no doubt he will fuck up again, generally at someone elses expense or misery. The "its lotto odds theory" annoys me to be honest, chances are one of these fuck ups wont interrupt your life but for those that they do Maybe when i knew him he was going through a bad time, methinks not.

You know something we don't? Why not share?

And, if something stops you from sharing, why do you think anyone will place any weight on your unsupported statement?

So what details of the case are you aware of that allows you to have such complete confidence in Watson's guilt? I'd like to know if for no other reason than to change my sig.

    fuck.

He isn't going to sell me an RG500, so he might as well be in jail somewhere for all I care.

/edit: Thanks to the above posters for summing it up for me, especially you Jim... no bike, no interest

They had that ex cop who made the allegations on TV this morning. I got a bad feeling about him during the interview as he would not look the camera 'in the eye'. He subsequently admitted that he resigned from the force when he was charged with dishonesty offences and admitted doing jail time for this. To his credit, he was quite open about this and did not try to evade the issue.
OK. So the guy who is questioning the Police's actions may have a grudge against the Police and has a criminal record for dishonesty. It would be hard for me personally to give his claims any credibility. You guys can make up your own minds.

I understand the media tracked him down, not the other way round. That, to me, says the man does not have an axe to grind or he would have done something about his story long ago.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Video crews generally advise interviewees not to look at the camera, as it make them look dorkish - as John Banks does when he habitually looks direct down the lens

I'm slowly starting to come around to the idea he might be innocent, but I'm a long way from convinced. Also even if he IS innocent of these murders he just gives off the vibes hes guilty of something else.

Whereas I'm convinced that David Bain is truly innocent and should be free, Scott Watson is guilty of something and probably deserves to be in jail whether or not he actually did these murders.

He/anyone in jail should be there for the right reason. Not because of something they didn't do.
I agree SW is a sleazebag, can't put my finger on why I feel that way tho. Perhaps he drugged young ladies and had his way??? Fair enough to be inside for that, but he wasn't charged and convicted of that, was he?

We all start with doubts. All you gota do now is come to the understanding that he needs to be convicted of an offence, not that he is 'probably' guilty of something and deserves to be in jail. Still it's a start and I live in hope.

Where you believe in Bains innocence: I give him some doubt where as with Watson's innocence.......... there is none.

It's the police dismissal of the ketch that got me. Any boaty worth his salt knows a ketch from a normal yacht, and for the police to say they were all imagining things, or lying, set the standard "they're trying to make the 'facts' fit their case" alarm bells ringing, in my mind.
Watson is a sad SOB, but if you are going to convict someone, it should be on firm, sound evidence, well researched and presented - not the ever increasing - "we've got the sod, now, what can we stitch around him to convict him"! and "trial by media" mentality, - tempting though it may be.
The prisons of the world are full of non guilty people who just happen to be around the wrong cops at the wrong time, no reason for it to be happening in NZ, though.

The cops used evidence from someone in prison who had said that Scott Watson had said......

Anyway I think the whole case and evidence is a crock of....

Guilty of being busted, the cops needed someone for the kids and he was it.
