Don't know about everyone else - but some in here are more like family than "people I met on a website".

So many will never undertstand (and this is from someone that has been on other website/chatrooms). KBers actually meet and do stuff... non marriage threatening stuff that is.

Lots of good people in here... and it tends to be the good people that see it.

    Onya!

But as much as I hate to admit it, the former outweighs the latter by about ooooh, infinite tons.

Nice to read your post, thanks.

Yeah, but minus the hug bit..

Well, I for one am sorry I found this place. Hotel California is a girl guides camp compared to this place. I've been trying to leave for months without success...

Anyone know where the door back to the place I was before is?

I suppose you lot are ok... ish...

    Yes. It's like a scab.

I would not use the word regret for me... however I do agree with you, for me there are more negatives than positives associated with KB.

And before anyone goes off on a tangent.... this is being addressed!

Remarkable positive thread young man and timely as well. This site reflects the makeup of the motorcycling community and that means some of us can be pricks. Doesn't mean we can't be mates though. Big ups to Spank for having the vision, drive and deep pockets to make this happen.

i'm still here because it makes me laugh
    - some in a good way
    - some in a darkly cynical, 'what-else-do-you-expect' way

that, and because i have a certain curiosity to see what happens next .......

I guess we all have had different experiences with KB, that the interweb thing for you though, some folks feel its a great place to display some behaviour that social restraints would be unacceptable, however for me its been a positive place, sure there have been some things I have seen that have made me feel a tad annoyed but the lack of too many constraints is what makes KB a good forum.

There is always someone willing to help with the technical questions, and often with even what might seem like the most basic question is answered without scorn and in a helpful manner.

Locally there has been the organisation of the Wednesday night cruisy rides and potentially a professional training event.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
