If you're in Wellington and have nothing to do today... (2 December)

Come and have a look at the Wynns 1 Hour Endurance Race Bucket & Motards!

    Here's a link: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=61923

Bring your gear and you're more than welcome to take my bucket out for a blast around the track.

The track is easy to find...head up to the wind turbine in Brooklyn, through the gate at the end of the road and then follow the Slipway signs.

    See you there.

    *sigh*

Some of us have to plan our days more than an hour in advance, though. Sad but true.

    Think of the children!

This is the second bucket race we've missed in as many weeks because I've been waiting for some sort of advance notice, or missed what advance notice there was. The site has some sort of calendar, yes? Was this in it? Should I have been using that? In lieu of other people reliably poking me in the ribs two days before, I need some sort of automated rib-poking system.

    Still, nice day for it.

You'll find it in the Racing forum, that's it for this year anyway. First bucket racing of '08 is likely to be in Feb.

Yeah, I guess. I tend to browse the RSS feed rather than read particular forums, which means that interesting stuff sometimes gets drowned in the tide of stuff I'm not so interested in. I'll just have to keep my eyes a little more peeled next year.

Aye, I thought as much. Bummer -- I'll be in Thailand.
